The Andes, Machu Picchu, Alpacas. We were already sold on Peru before the first sip! The Climate here has always been ideal for quality production, but ironically the high altitudes that give this region so much potential are also their prime challenge. In the last decade farmers have joined forces, forming cooperative groups that have helped to consolidate, classify and effectively market these previously hidden gems. Thanks to the spirit of collaboration these coffees can now make the epic journey from the mountain ranges of northern Peru into your favorite mug.
